Important Info

Your success in obtaining vehicle financing my be jeopardized by who you choose to help you. This is how it works... you could stroll into your neighborhood dealership, find the automobile of your dreams and then get turned down for financing due to credit issues.

Why were you really denied automobile financing?

  • Was it the dealer finance representative who was inexperienced and naive that presented your information to the wrong financial institution based on your credit criteria?
  • Was it the dealer finance representative who was inept and presented your information to the right financial institution but in the wrong way?

Many auto dealership do not specialize in obtaining vehicle financing for individuals with prior credit problems. Many dealerships specialize in having you fill out a credit application, faxing it to the bank...it's either yes or no...and go to the next one.

Many dealership finance representatives would not be able to pick up a telephone and change a denial to an approval to save their lives!

Many dealerships "shotgun" your credit application to every lender in town hoping that one of them will "just buy the deal". No effort or thought has been put into the actual "selling" of your deal to the financial institution. The end result...turned down at every financial institution around.

BUT IT GETS WORSE!!!!

So you are thinking "I'll just go to the next and the next dealership till I find someone who knows what they are doing"...  not that easy.

Financial Institutions across the country have a "honor code" that they abide by called "cross call". A cross call means that if ABC Dealership sends XYZ Finance Company an application on you, and they turn it down...you are turned down at every dealer that submits your application to XYZ Finance Company...and on and on.
